You didn't fail anything

Diets are designed to be short-term
But you don't have to keep going down that same path.
You CAN get the body that you want, and you DON'T have to cut out the foods that you don't want to cut out.
It's all about balance...sustainability.
Sustainable Nutrition
Because when you try a diet that is too restrictive, too hard to follow - whatever results you see, you won't be able to maintain them.
You'll end up wasting so much time starting over on Monday.
Sustainable Fitness
No one really talks about this...but I do.
I worked in a gym and one point, and this is what I know from experience
People think that they need to workout for 1 hours and 15 minutes - 1 1/2 hours. Add in the drive time (easily 40 minutes total). That's over 2 hours total!
So they end up stopping (and they'll come back....and stop again), because we're all busy! I don't know how anyone (unless you're a bodybuilder) has 2 hours 5-7 days per week to spend at the gym.
And to add to that, we get bored. Do the same workout, using the same machines, 5 days per week, and I would bet that, 6 months in (at the latest...if you're consistent), and you're going to get bored...and stop.
And another example of how diet culture has failed us. It is responsible for our short-term way of thinking. Most people don't think about those things that I just said...because they are thinking short-term. They aren't thinking about...
